Thinking About Relocating?

We're genuinely glad you're considering joining us. Before you make any decisions, we want to give you an honest picture of what to expect — and how we can help.

A word before you pack

We want you here — and we want you prepared.

Over the past few years, we've been encouraged to know that many families are relocating to be part of reformed covenant communities. Many faithful families are now willing to uproot and plant somewhere new for the sake of a healthy church.

But relocation is serious. It affects your family, your livelihood, your children, and your extended relationships. We take that seriously, and we want you to as well. We are not trying to recruit anyone. We are simply trying to serve you well as you discern what God may be calling you to.

If you do decide to come, know that we will do everything in our power to welcome you, integrate you, and walk alongside you in this covenant community. We will be glad you're here.

Before you decide — please consider:

Have a work planCome with employment secured or a realistic path to it. We are a working-class covenant community, not a destination for those fleeing difficulty without a plan.
Research the housing marketThe cost of living is real. Come with eyes open — we will help where we can, but we cannot carry the weight of poor planning.
Don't flee — arriveIf you are leaving a difficult situation, resolve it before you come. Bitterness and unfinished relational business travel with you.
Visit firstCome for a Sunday — or two. Meet the elders. Eat with a family. Make sure this is the right fit before you sign a lease.
Have realistic expectationsWe are an ordinary congregation of redeemed sinners. We will disappoint you in some ways — as you will us. That is covenant life, and it is still very good.

An honest word about covenant community.

Relocation may go wonderfully. Families who plan carefully, come expectantly, and integrate humbly become some of the most faithful and fruitful members of their congregation.

We have also seen it go poorly — when families arrived expecting a perfect church, a ready-made social life, or a solution to troubles that followed them from home.

The local church is worth sacrificing for. But sacrifice has to be rightly ordered. If God is calling your family to covenant life with us, He will also order your work, your housing, and your relationships to make it possible. Pray, plan, and come ready to serve — not just to receive.

What we can offer
Pastoral care. Covenant community. Hospitality. A body of people who will know your name, pray for your family, and walk alongside you through difficulty and joy alike.
What we cannot offer
Employment guarantees. Housing assistance beyond what members can personally offer. A church without conflict, weakness, or ordinary human imperfection.
What we ask of you
Come ready to serve. Come humbly. Come with a plan. Come having told your current elders. And come — if God is indeed calling you — with joyful expectancy.

How to proceed

The path from consideration to arrival.

If after prayer and counsel you believe God may be calling your family to Christ Reformed Fellowship, here is a simple process we recommend.

01
Fill out the form below
Let us know who you are, where you're coming from, and what you're considering. An elder will be in touch within a week.
02
Speak with an elder
We'll schedule a call to hear your situation, answer your questions, and pray together about whether this move makes sense.
03
Plan a visit
Come for a Lord's Day — ideally two. We'll arrange hospitality, introduce you to families, and give you a real taste of covenant life with us.
04
Decide & arrive
If God opens the door and both parties are at peace, make the move. We will be ready to welcome you and walk with you from day one.
